To create an automatic route between elements:
- Click on the A to B button in the Thermist panel.
- Select the starting element.
- If adjacent similar elements are selected, confirm which elements you want to use.
- Select the ending point.
- Thermist will automatically generate a clash-free route between the element(s) and clicked point.
- Review the generated routing and make any necessary adjustments.
A to B Custom Route
A to B provides optional flexible routing to match your project requirements:
- Click on the A to B Custom Route button in the Thermist panel.
- Select the starting element.
- If adjacent similar elements are selected, confirm which elements you want to use.
- Select the ending point.
- Confirm desired pathway by adding nodes and shifting custom route.
- Thermist will automatically generate a clash-free route between the element(s) and clicked point.
- Note the routing algorithm prefers the pathway but won't follow it exactly, it still avoids clashes.
- Review the generated routing and make any necessary adjustments.
Tips for Best Results
- Ensure your model has accurate collision geometry for clash detection.
- Use the demo videos as reference for common use cases.
- For complex routing scenarios, consider breaking the path into multiple A to B segments.
